Remove spam from Google Analytics

Not sure if you knew this or not, but when you add Google Analytics to your website, you are vulnerable to tons of fake analytics data coming in.

For years I was looking at Google Analytics data for my websites thinking, "Wow! I am doing pretty good!" Turns out, a quarter of my data was spam.

Thanks to this blog post referred to me from a friend of mine, I was able to remove the spam for my websites in Google Analytics.
